The MeshugaNutcracker! Combines Tchaikovsky’s Score and Chanukah Lore

You’ve never seen a Nutcracker like The MeshugaNutcracker!, a full-length musical comedy that combines an invigorating, Klezmer-ized orchestration of Tchaikovsky’s classic score with clever tales celebrating the miracle of Chanukah. Full of dancing dreidels, leaping latkes and eight charming Chelmniks (citizens of Chelm, the fictional town of fools), it’s a delightful holiday mash-up that the Los Angeles Times called “captivating” and “lovingly loopy.” Don’t miss the season’s oy-ful musical event when The MeshugaNutcracker! takes the stage of the Gindi Auditorium at the American Jewish University.
