Le Salon de Musiques chamber concerts are renowned for their up-close and intimate, stage-free musical experience and this program will feature works from a pair of Russian greats. The concert will spotlight Anton Arensky’s Variations on a Theme by Tchaikovsky Opus 35 and Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s String Sextet "Souvenir de Florence." The beautiful pieces will be performed by the talented and emotive lineup of Roberto Cani and Julie Gigante on violin, Andrew Duckles and Alma L. Fernandez on viola, and Timothy Landauer and David Low on cello. After the performance, discuss the music with the musicians and other audience members during a champagne reception which will feature finger sandwiches, scones, fruit and sweets.
