If the unique African artifacts, jewelry, artwork, food and auction items haven’t sold you on MAMATOTO, I am sure the music will!

Denise Pelley, the jazz singer with the powerful pipes and huge heart for Africa, will perform live. No stranger to the stage or the cause, Denise has opened for Aretha Franklin, performed for Romeo Dallaire and collaborated with the likes of Jesse Cook and Toronto’s own Gospel/Blues legend Jackie Richardson. Denise was recently featured in the Globe and Mail for her charity work teaching music to children in South Sudan. Her presence and performance will surely inspire us all.

And, that’s not all.

Also, guaranteed to move you is the Resolutionaries Marimba Band! With their hot blend of Zimbabwean music and traditional Zimbabwean instruments, they will combine sweet melodies with the pulse of African rhythms – sure to lift your spirits and your feet.
