California’s premier baile folklórico company will take you on a colorful journey to Mexico through exhilarating music and dance. This vibrant ensemble of dancers and musicians performs under the direction of Adriana Astorga-Gainey and will set the stage ablaze with innovative choreography while instilling cultural pride and promoting international understanding. The dance ensemble is based in Los Angeles and combines traditional dances styles and religion with modern dance idioms. This performance is a part of the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center’s LA Bloom festival.
