Come and meet Anakana Schofield, author of “Malarky,” on Wednesday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m. in the North York Central Library Auditorium, 5120 Yonge Street. Schofield’s ‘Our Woman’ is a strange and wonderful character who is drawn down into grief and madness by the revelation of her husband’s supposed infidelity and strange sexual habits. Malarky is poignant, funny, and delivered in the cadences of rural Ireland. Anakana Schofield is an Irish-Canadian writer of fiction, essays, and literary criticism.
