On Sunday, May 6, 2012, the Sikh Spiritual Centre Khalsa Day Parade will take place. Event organizers are anticipating 60,000+ participants, three bands, four floats, 10 vehicles and 20 bicycles.

Road closures: 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
– Humberwood Boulevard: Humberline Drive to Morningstar Drive,
– Morningstar Drive to Humberwood Boulevard to Mississauga border

Road Closures:
– Carrier Drive: Westmore Drive to Highway 27
– Westmore Drive: Finch Avenue West to Albion Road

Parade Route: start at 4 p.m., or earlier, in Toronto: 1:30 p.m. in Mississauga

Formation Area: 7280 Airport Road (Mississauga),

– Eastbound Morning Star Drive
– Northbound Humberwood Boulevard
– Northbound Humberline Drive
– Eastbound Finch Avenue West
– Northbound Westmore Avenue
– Dispersal Area: Sikh Spiritual Centre, 9 Carrier Drive

The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
