Written & Performed by Johnnie Walker Directed by Morgan Norwich Youve got one more chance to see Redheaded Stepchild before Nobodys Business Theatre takes their hit show on a Fringe Festival tour to Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, and Victoria. Nicholas is a 12-year-old with red hair whose dad just remarried, making him a redheaded stepchild. Literally. And tomorrow at lunch, the biggest boy in grade six plans to beat him up. Walker plays Nicholas; his ex-Jehovahs witness golf-pro stepmom, Mary-Anne; and his fabulous alter-ego and imaginary friend, Rufus Vermilion. BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE! -MUSIC BY HENRI FABERG: Henri Faberg is a collaborative artist in music, performance, film, and visual design. He is a former member of the old world aristocracy, but has strayed away for so long he’s lost his accent. For a while he performed as a modern day bard with his sardonically dubbed ‘Adorables’, then set up residency first at a naval academy and then an island utopia. He is a witness to history, and he’s not sure he approves of what he sees. -FOOD BY COMIDA DEL PUEBLO: Three chefs combine their talents and passion to bring latin inspired street food to Toronto as Comida Del Pueblo. Sunday, May 27, 2012 Doors at 7:00 p.m., Show at 8:00 p.m. Buddies in Bad Times Theatre (12 Alexander Street) $20 in advance, $25 at the door For tickets, call 416-975-8555 or visit http://redheadedstepchild.eventbrite.com/
