John Sebastian & Jimmy Vivino: Lovin’ Spoonful Singer, Conan Bandleader at The Canyon
The Canyon (Agoura Hills, CA)
John Sebastian, lead singer of The Lovin’ Spoonful, and Jimmy Vivino, leader of the band on TBS’s late-night talk show Conan, unite for a concert at The Canyon in Agoura Hills. Sebastian led The Lovin’ Spoonful into music history, becoming one of the biggest American rock bands of the ’60s with nine top-20 Billboard hits, including “Do You Believe In Magic,” “You Didn’t Have To Be So Nice,” “Daydream,” “Did You Ever Have To Make Up Your Mind?” and “Summer In The City.” The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000. Vivino was part of Conan O’Brien’s house bands on Late Night and The Tonight Show, and took over band leadership from Max Weinberg in 2010.
