An overwhelming hit each time, this is a freewheeling re-imagination of the first table-reading of the screenplay to Airplane!, the hit film consistently rated as one of the all-time funniest movies. Eleven actors, including Oscar nominee Robert Forster (Max Cherry in Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown), will handle all 69 roles in the screenplay. The original film, starring Robert Hays, Julie Hagerty and Leslie Nielsen, was a slapstick parody of the disaster film genre, which included films like Airport, The Poseidon Adventure and The Towering Inferno
