Oscar-nominated writer, director and actress Julie Delpy presents a double feature of her films 2 Days in New York (2012) and 2 Days in Paris (2007) at the 1940 landmark movie theater, The Aero. Delpy began her performing career as a teen in the early 1980s in films including Jean-Luc Godard’s Detective and has gone on to appear in acclaimed films such as Krzysztof Kieslowski’s Three Colors trilogy. In her smart and sexy comedy 2 Days in Paris, Delpy and Adam Goldberg star as a couple whose relationship becomes rocky when they take a Parisian getaway. In 2 Days in New York, the writer/director’s character returns to New York City and faces a whole new set of family-inspired challenges with her new beau, played by Chris Rock. Delpy will be on hand for discussion in between films.
