House Institute is the collaboration of Torontos true DEEP House music enthusiasts, who have come together to celebrate and share their passion for this sound. With a rich history of Deep House, Toronto has played host to the most notable names in the industry. In the 90s The Twilight Zone was the epicenter of what we call now Classic House – the roots form of Chicago, Philadelphia and New York House. The millennium saw the scene grow to sprout Industry, 23 HOP, Roxy Blu and finally The Guvernment. Today, the tradition and love for this genre is still alive and well with places like Revival, Footwork and Moskito. Entering into the Spring of 2013, House Institute will start a new era, made to revive the contagious qualities of the sound we call Deep House. House institute will be a weekly event featuring the best in house music crafted by Torontos most notable and up and coming DJs. House Institute will cater to an audience of urbanites that know good music when they hear it. To add to the excitement, Cube will secure talent from a roster of high profile, internationally renowned artists in Deep House, such as; Mark Farina, Miguel Migs, Osunlade, Kerri Chandler, JoJo Flores and many more.
