Placido Domingo, Melissa Machester and Cantor Magda Fishman will all perform on the same stage at this gala concert hosted by Temple Beth Am. This musical feast honors the Ziering family, one of Los Angeles’s most influential families of philanthropists. Domingo is a world-renowned operatic tenor and winner of twelve Grammy Awards. Manchester is also a Grammy winner, best known for her hit songs “Don’t Cry Out Loud,” “Midnight Blue,” “Through the Eyes of Love” and “Whenever I Call You Friend.” Fishman has toured throughout the world, showcasing her abilities. Performing since the age of 10, she is building a reputation as one of the best young cantors anywhere. The program will include a musical tribute in memory of Marvin Hamlisch.
