After scoring an Academy Award for portraying former country music legend Bad Blake in 2009’s Crazy Heart, Renaissance man Jeff Bridges teamed with legendary music producer T-Bone Burnett (O Brother Where Art Thou?, The Big Lebowski) to craft Bridges’ self-titled 2011 major-label debut. The Dude has been mixing music and movies since 1980, but he’s been playing and writing songs for much longer than that. With his soulful, heartfelt voice on songs steeped in understated philosophy, Bridges brings as much charisma to the stage as he does to the screen. The Los Angeles Times describes Bridges’ music as an “audio correlative to the beloved characters he’s played on-screen.”
