"The Trumpet of the Swan"

This stage adaptation of E.B. White’s novel joins actors with a 30-piece orchestra and a trumpet soloist to tell an uplifting story of a swan born without a voice. To overcome this obstacle, trumpeter swan Louis learns to play a real trumpet given to him by his father. With the help of a young boy named Sam, Louis conquers adversity and attains the gift of music through his father’s heroic love. Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Marsha Norman and Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown collaborate to tell the enchanting story of The Trumpet of the Swan.
