Singer-songwriter Ball’s emotionally charged vocals and ferocious piano playing combine Texas roadhouse stomp and Louisiana swamp blues. She’s recorded 15 albums and plays blues and jazz fests all over the world. Spicing up their traditional sound with funk and reggae, Simien and his band the Zydeco Experience have spread the Cajun-music gospel across the globe as well, winning three Grammys and visiting more than 45 countries.
