Cuentos y Leyendas de México takes some of the most popular Mexican folk tales, bedtime stories and legends and transforms them into sensational dance works. Throughout this dance-filled evening presented under the stars at Ford Amphitheatre, youth dance company Resurrección Mexican Folk will use traditional dance to bring the ancestral stories of eight different regions of México to dazzling life. Told through the eyes of a child, these timeless tales — full of colorful characters and unforgettable imagery — have been passed down from generation to generation over the past 400 years.
