Blending English rock and American roots music, these five best mates from Leeds, England, have already made a splash in the U.S. in the two short years since they appeared at the Folk Alliance International conference. And their success couldn’t make them any closer. The group consists of brothers Joseph Dunwell and David Dunwell along with cousins Jonny Lamb and Rob Clayton and longtime pal Dave Hanson. Named HMV’s “Next Big Thing of 2012” and Caffe Nero’s “Artist of the Month,” the Dunwells are ready to charm with stellar musicianship, classic roots songwriting and gorgeous harmonies from songs off last year’s debut, Blind Sighted Faith, and more crowd favorites from their days performing at pubs.
