lindsay cahill is a Toronto-based editor, visual poet, and remixer. her most recent publications include Zigest, The Rusty Toque, Stroboscope: a magazine of versioned poetics, and TheVolta.orgs feature on The Women of Visual Poetry. pieces from her Simpsons remix project will be featured in Jonathan Balls forthcoming anthology WHY POETRY SUCKS. she will be curating HOMER’S ODYSSEY: a Simpsons art show in early September at Videofag Art Gallery in Kensington Market.

Cynthia Gould is one of those artsy freaks – a performance poet, writer, painter, graphic designer, party instigator Bridesmaidmania and the Toronto Tinfoil Hat Contest, and is the singer/guitarist for the increasingly notorious Toronto drunkrock band High Heels Lo Fi. She’s been on two spoken word tours, twice performed at Word on the Street, was published in Reader’s Digest, and The Globe & Mail called her “an off-colour feminist rant poet”, to which she disagrees, but giggles. www.cynthiagould.com / www.highheelslofi.com

Sandra Kasturi is a poet, writer, book reviewer and Bram Stoker Award-winning editor. She is the co-publisher of the World Fantasy Award-nominated and British Fantasy Award-winning press, ChiZine Publications. Her work has appeared in various venues, including ON SPEC, Prairie Fire, Shadows & Tall Trees, several Tesseracts anthologies, Evolve, Evolve 2, both Chilling Tales volumes, A Verdant Green, StarLine, 80! Memories & Reflections on Ursula K. Le Guin, and Vamps, Tramps and Stamps. Sandras two poetry collections were released by Tightrope Books: The Animal Bridegroom with an intro by Neil Gaiman and Come Late to the Love of Birds. She likes red lipstick, gin & tonics and Michael Fassbender.

Doors open at 8:00pm and first reader is on at 8:30pm. This is a FREE event.
