Legendary filmmaker Robert Altman directs an all-star ensemble cast — including Lily Tomlin, Meryl Streep, Lindsay Lohan, Kevin Kline, Tommy Lee Jones and Woody Harrelson — in this acclaimed cinematic adaptation of one of public radio’s most beloved and longest running hit shows, Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion. A selection of Altman family home movies will be shown prior to the movie screening, along with insightful commentary by an Altman family member. And, as a special treat, a surprise guest cast member and moderator will take to the Alex Theatre stage for a live Q&A before the screening.
