The Wiltern (Los Angeles, CA)

Cafe Tacuba

The leaders of the ’90s rock en Español movement, the Mexican quartet Cafe Tacuba may’ve won two Grammys for Best Latin Rock Album (Reves/YoSoy, Cuatro Caminos), but they’re actually famed genre-busters who’ve explored everything from punk, ska, electronica, psychedelia and hip hop, to rootsy norteño, bolero and ranchera. Known for their amazing live shows, the band’s played to encores and acclaim at Lollapalooza and Coachella over the past several years, and released the Latin chart-topping single “De Este Lado del Camino,” in 2012, off their latest disc El Objeto Antes Llamado Disco. They’re celebrating their 25th anniversary with this much-anticipated U.S. tour, which includes a stop at L.A.’s famed Wiltern.
