The East-L.A.-bred Los Lobos are three-time Grammy winners who play a rootsy and soulful brand of rock ‘n’ roll influenced by Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B and traditional Mexican songs. Rolling Stone named their 1984 release How Will the Wolf Survive? one of the 500 greatest albums of all time and in 2013, the band celebrated 40 years together with the release of an acoustic live album, Disconnected In New York City. Though their debut album was titled Just Another Band from East L.A., they’ve repeatedly disproven that they are “just another” anything, and instead are a group that is consistently evolving artistically while never losing sight of their humble roots.
