The Boy and the Snow Goose

The Box

Short story from Co Hoedeman using the techniques of puppet animation, true shooting and pixilation. An artist puts the finishing touches to a character in his studio. When finished, it comes to life and sets out to discover its environment. Reflection on the development and learning of the child, this fanciful tale takes us to a magical world where imagination and invention prevail. Silent animation.

A Sea Turtle Story

Under cover of darkness, a sea turtle discreetly digs a hole on a tropical beach. She lays her eggs, cover them with sand, and goes back to the ocean. The babies face a treacherous journey on the beach and in the ocean, a journey filled with threats from both animals –crabs, birds, sharks– and humans. Touching and lovely, A Sea Turtle Story captures the life cycle of critically endangered species and the beauty of the ecosystem they live in.

The Tender Tale of Cinderella Penguin

Inspired by Perrault’s tale, cute penguins are in the spotlight of this short animated movie that perform the tender tale of Cinderella with brio. But what could happen to a palmiped Cinderella? Silent animation.

How Dinosaurs Learned to Fly

This animated short story is about dinosaurs. At prehistoric times, the dinosaurs just wanted to have fun and stay up all night. But they were headed for trouble for doing so…Disguised into a comical tale for children, we learn about their dangerous activities, the reason they disappeared, but also their evolution in the animals’ family tree. Do not worry, this is not a true story.
