The much-anticipated revival of this imaginative adaptation asks the age-old, perennially puzzling question: “What if William Shakespeare had written Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction?” (Well, for one thing, a Royale With Cheese would become a “Hachis Parmentier.”) Set in Elizabethan England, this comic concoction trades pistols for daggers and cars for horses as it follows the adventures of a pair of enigmatic hit men, their boss’ dangerously sexy wife and a go-for-broke knight. Aaron Lyons (Vincenzio de la Vega), Dan White (Julius Winfield) and Christian Levatino (Butch “Butcher” Coolidge) reprise their previously played roles for this new production, directed by 2014 Ovation Award-winner Amanda McRaven.
