Celebrating its 10th anniversary, The Book Lovers Ball will take place amongst the stacks of the Toronto Reference Library for the very first time! Presented by Toronto Public Library Foundation and TD Bank Group, this black-tie gala will unite book lovers with Canada’s top literary talents, all in support of Toronto Public Library – one of the busiest urban library systems in the world.
Get up close and personal during an intimate dining experience with a celebrity author and favourite fictional characters including Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes and Romeo and Juliet. The evening’s silent auction will feature book club experiences with an author and your friends, travel packages and a chance to Adopt a Branch.
NEW – “After Dark” After Party:
Don’t miss out on the first ever Book Lover’s Ball after party, After Dark, featuring live music, dancing, Jason Collett’s Basement Revue with special guests, and interactive, literary inspired activities – such as a short game of Scrabble against your favourite author.
