Orpheus Choir, one of Toronto’s preeminent choral groups, performs John Rutter’s unmistakably optimistic Requiem for its premiere concert in the Toronto Beach neighbourhood. Experience the glorious sounds of Beach United Church’s Guilbault-Thérien organ in the beautiful acoustic of this newly renovated hall. The concert, conducted by Artistic Director Robert Cooper, features the 60 voice choir and Sidgwick Scholar soloists, and organist Edward Moroney. TICKETS are $25 for adults and $10 for those under 10 years, available at the door or online through Eventbrite (www.eventbrite.ca). Proceeds support community work done by Beach United Church.
