Disney’s new live-action feature Cinderella brings the classic fairy tale to life for a whole new generation of “happily ever after” fans. Inspired by timeless images from Disney’s 1950 animated masterpiece, Cinderella features a cast of Oscar-acknowledged stars, including Cate Blanchett as the dreaded stepmother, director Kenneth Branagh and Helena Bonham Carter as the fairy godmother. Downton Abbey star Lily James steps into the glass slippers as Cinderella and Richard Madden, of Game of Thrones fame, plays her prince. The magical transformation takes place at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre. As you wait for the curtains to raise, you’ll see images spring to life during an immersive light and projection show accompanied by a live organist. Plus, only with Disney’s Cinderella can your little princess-lovers see Disney’s new animated short Frozen Fever. Making the event even more magical, everyone’s favorite snowman, Olaf, will stop by in person to introduce the short. Before leaving the theater, make sure to check out the film’s glass slipper, displayed with other props and costumes used in the filming of the movie.
