Most comics on Conan try to end with a “big finish,” but only Jon Dore concluded one of his sets on the show wet and screaming, his shirt at his feet and an obscene doodle scrawled across his bare chest. In another memorable appearance, he actually took over the entire show, commandeering Conan’s desk and interviewing guests. But then again when this whip-smart and absolutely fearless comedian starts performing he’s likely to say — and do — anything. His absurd observations and slow-burn energy first earned him a gig on Canadian Idol and then his own series on Canada’s Comedy Channel. Then his own star-making series The Jon Dore Television Show was a cult hit on IFC. Now he brings his unique, daring comedy to Flappers Comedy Club Burbank.
