Furniture & Accessory Paint Classes

Want to transform that secondhand chair or end-table into something Pinterest-worthy? Get picture perfect renovating pointers and ideas by taking a course at King Richard’s in Whittier. It’s one of California’s largest antique-vintage centers and home to this fun DIY furniture and accessory painting class. You’ll use CeCe Caldwell’s natural chalk and clay paints to complete a small project to take home. There’s no need to have previous painting experience; this class will teach you everything from executing proper brush strokes to creating or erasing textures. Instructors will be on-hand to give you the confidence you need to tackle any project. Just bring a small item to paint — for example, a birdhouse or frame made of wood, plastic, or metal — and this two-hour class provides the paint, finish, brushes and inspiration.
