One of the top Latin American comics in America today, Joey Medina is best known as a performer in the hit concert film The Original Latin Kings of Comedy, alongside Cheech Marin, Paul Rodriguez, George Lopez and Alex Reymundo. The Bronx native, who was a professional boxer before coming to the world of stand-up, has had his own Showtime stand-up special, Taking off the Gloves. He’s also produced and starred in the stand-up DVDs Cholo Comedy Slam and Latin Palooza.
