Oxford Properties is proud to present We Are Lawrence, a signature Cultural Hotspot project that conveys the story of Toronto neighbourhood Lawrence Avenue through a collection of thought and emotion provoking photographs and portraits. The exhibit will be in the tunnel between MetroCentre and St. Andrew Subway Station from Monday April 27th to Friday May 1st.

All photos in the installation have been taken by young local artists, who have devoted time to learning about the various aspects of photography. They have applied their knowledge while exploring the vibrant neighbourhood of Wexford Heights, resulting in a series of images that convey the humanity of the people who work, live and play in the community.

The We Are Lawrence project is a collaboration between the City of Toronto Arts and Culture Services and Toronto-based artist, photographer and instigator, Che Kothari and in conjunction with mentoring support by local artist, Jalani Morgan.
