Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass have proven themselves to be two of the most enduring sources of creative inspiration over the course of the century and a half since they were written. With a mixture of childlike whimsy and psychedelic imagery, the imaginary world of Wonderland has long held a key for the door into our collective imagination. Now, Curious Conversations turns that key on eight new short plays inspired by Carroll’s work. Indulge in the wild wordplay of a conversation between the Mad Hatter and the Cheshire Cat at Wonderland’s finest tavern, watch as the Blue Caterpillar attends an addiction meeting, and laugh at the ensuing fates of the Walrus and the Carpenter after their oyster feast.
