Composed of songs from modern Broadway master Stephen Sondheim’s vast catalog, the one-act revue Marry Me a Little takes place in the separate apartments of two lonely people in their 20s who fantasize about romance while living only a floor away from each other. Through bittersweet soliloquies and songs from both famous musicals and un-produced shows, this revue brings to life the characters’ hopes, adventurous longings and fears of commitment. The poignant and romantic story includes a slew of songs originally written for such Sondheim gems as Follies, A Funny Thing Happened On the Way to the Forum, A Little Night Music and Company. Catch this Good People Theater Company production at Elephant Stages’ Lillian Theatre as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
