Dubbed everything from “Sinatra with Sneakers” to the “McCartney of Jazz,” Jamie Cullum is an English singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist making jazz accessible to an entirely new generation of fans. Not that he’s ever been one to stick to jazz exclusively anyway. In addition to opening for Billy Joel and other pop giants, the 35-year-old has also collaborated with Clint Eastwood, headlined at the famed Glastonbury rock festival, covered Rihanna songs and more. Cullum’s fresh pop style is infused with a subtle penumbra of jazz, which he’ll bring to the Hollywood Bowl this summer. Also performing will be Soulive and Lisa Fischer.
