Born out of the ashes of the UK post-punk scene, The Cult evolved to become one of the most influential and controversial rock bands of the late 20th century. Originally formed as a goth band, The Cult transformed over the years into a stadium-filling rock band, led by the charismatic Ian Astbury. Now they’re coming back to Hollywood to rock the Palladium with hits like “She Sells Sanctuary,” “Fire Woman” and “Rain.” Opening for them is Primal Scream, the Scottish band that brought indie music and dance together in an irresistible blend that appeals to fans of rock and electronica alike. Their 1991 album Screamadelica is widely regarded as one of the best albums of 1990s and was the band’s U.S. breakthrough with hit singles like “Higher Than the Sun,” “Come Together” and “Movin’ On Up.”
