Renowned blues guitarist Walter Trout headlines a full day of great blues music and delicious food as the Ascencia Urban Blues Festival comes to Raleigh Studios in Hollywood. Joining Trout in his only L.A. gig this summer are fellow blues veterans Guitar Shorty, Arthur Adams and many more. After getting his start playing alongside John Lee Hooker, Canned Heat and John Mayall, Trout branched out on a successful solo career. Now, after recent health difficulty, Trout is back in top form, fresh off a show at London’s Royal Albert Hall and with a new album, Battle Scars, on the horizon. This benefit show will also feature food trucks serving up everything from Cajun to barbecue to refreshing Hawaiian shave ice, which will be available to purchase.
