WHAT: The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre’s (MNjcc) latest art exhibition, Shmita/Seven Generations, will explore common Jewish and Indigenous perspectives in a way that has never been seen before.

Shmita/Seven Generations is a fascinating exhibition that will showcase seven artists’ interpretations of the Jewish concept of Shmita and the Indigenous concept of Seven Generations through photography, painting and mixed media works. The exhibition, a collaboration with the Indigenous Visual Cultural Program at OCAD and the Jewish Agency, is the first of its kind and will be on display at the Gallery at the J from September 1 – 30, 2015.
