Blur

The band’s name may be a Blur to you, but you’ll definitely recognize the rockers’ biggest hit, “Song 2” — its recognizable riff and signature “woo-hoo!” is still heard in TV shows, movies, commercials and at sports stadiums around the world. Now riding a new wave of acclaim after the release of their 2015 comeback disc The Magic Whip, the original quartet takes the stage at the iconic Hollywood Bowl for their biggest headlining gig ever in the U.S. The Grammy-nominated band broke through in the ’90s as the Britpop rivals to Oasis, and are beloved in their native country, where they’ve headlined Hyde Park a record-breaking four times. They also played Coachella in 2013. Australian indie rocker Courtney Barnett, made a huge impression at SXSW with her witty lyrics, opens the show with cuts from her well-received debut disc, Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Just Sit.
