The Montalbán (Hollywood, CA)

World Choreography Awards

Film has the Oscar, television has the Emmy, and now the art of dance on both film and television has an award, too: the Choreo. From the splashy twirls and leaps on display in the music video for Carrie Underwood’s “Something in the Water” to the film Annie‘s irresistible steps amidst a sea of balloons, to a goofy aerobics meltdown on Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, choreographers were responsible for some of the past year’s most beloved moments on screens big and small. Watch these groundbreaking artists get their much-deserved due as the fifth-annual World Choreography Awards show kicks into The Montalbán in Hollywood. Host Riker Lynch, (Glee, Dancing with the Stars) will hand out the Choreos for dance in commercials, live television events, digital media and other categories as rising-star choreographers of stage and screen deliver jaw-dropping performances throughout.
