Master spoofer Mel Brooks take on all things operatic in space, whether it be STAR WARS, 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY or PLANET OF THE APES are all fair game in this hilarious flick from the 80s. The movie follows planet Spaceball, led by the incompetent President Skroob, after the planet has wasted all of its air.

This ridiculously silly film is stars the likes of Mel Brooks, Bill Pullman, John Candy, Rick Moranis, Daphnie Zuniga, Dick Van Patten and even the voice of Joan Rivers. It has become a cult classic over time, and remains just as funny today as it did the day it was released. Perfect antidote for post-Star Wars blues!
