FUNDRAISER FOR THE NEW MOM PROJECT
We are inviting you to attend a small auction of works of art to be sold at a fundraiser for The New Mom Project.
Yellow House Gallery Presents "Grow UP and Give" Art Party
The goal is to raise $10,000 to provide baby boxes for mothers in need.
The Yellow House Gallery's "Grow UP and Give" Art Party, curated by Christina Kostoff and Maggie Broda will be a evening of art, music, wine and hors d'oeuvres with a live auction of the works in the show on Thursday May 26,2016, from 7:00 to 10:00 PM. All proceeds support The New Mom Project.
Tickets are $50 each and may be purchased at the door or in advance!
Join us for an evening to celebrate motherhood and art with the live auction of a curated selection of individual works of art from many of Canada's most talented artists. There will be a complementary wine bar, accompanied by a selection of delicious hors d'oeuvres for ticket holders in an elegant atmosphere of live jazz performed by Juno nominated musicians.
This event brings art and social consciousness together. Seize this incredible opportunity to mingle with artists, purchase a wonderful piece of art, and help mothers and their newborn children have a healthy start to their lives.

The New Mom Project is a volunteer based, not-for-profit registered charity established in 2014 to provide families in need with some basic baby necessities. We collect donations of gently used or new items and distribute them to families in need (single mothers, refugees, immigrants and at risk mothers) in Toronto. We provide free baby boxes that include items such as basic clothing, blankets, toys, and books. Our service is confidential, non-judgmental and always free. The New Mom Project works in partnership with organizations throughout Toronto to ensure that no new mom goes without the basics for her child. In order to provide the best service, we are associated with all major Toronto hospitals, Lifeline Syria, Toronto Public Health, and various community organizations.
