Drake One Fifty, Drake Hotel Properties’ (DHP) chic stand-alone destination restaurant in the heart of the Financial District, is thrilled to announce the return of Twilight Tuesdays Night Market, back for its third year! Join us on Tuesday evenings this August from 5 to 9 p.m. as we transform the York Street Parkette into a mini night market filled with gourmet street food, summer treats, live musical performances, art installations + more, all to benefit Out of the Cold!

On August 9, 16, 23, & 30Corporate Executive Chef Ted Corrado and Chef de Cuisine Jon Pong will be on-site cooking up Drake One Fifty classics with a twist, celebrating the seasonal bounty that supports many local purveyors and farmers. Downtowners can hang out and unwind after work in our twilight oasis, sampling delicious food and drinks from Drake One Fifty and a rotating roster of stand-out restaurants of the Financial District, including Pizzeria Libretto,MomofukuTundraGabardineRichmond StationSmoke Signals BBQ, and Thoroughbred.

Trade a $5 ticket for any food item or beverage of your choice. Drake One Fifty offerings will riff on high-meets-low Chinatown inspired street food in this auspicious year of the Monkey: sticky soy glazed pork ribs with crunchy peanuts and green onions, steamed shrimp + pork dumplings with tare sauce and tobiko, plus hot wings coated in crack salt (or suicide sauce for the kamikaze foodie!) all made-to-order on location– and that’s just the beginning! Wash it all down with local pilsner from Ace Hill and summery sangrias in red or white made with Havana ClubAltos Tequila andJacob’s Creek Moscato!

It wouldn’t be The Drake if we didn’t have art + music to go with your food! There will be street-side performances by Canadian indie artists, along with live DJs starting at 6 p.m. Art will be on view, including a new installation by Portland-based Souther Salazar, known for his colourful works inspired by the wonders of childhood.

When twilight turns to dusk, come inside for hand-crafted cocktails prepared by Drake One Fifty’s acclaimed mixologists in our design lover’s dream dining room with a revolving art collection thoughtfully curated by The Drake’s Head of Cultural Programming, Mia Nielsen, which accents the flavour-forward fare. Keep the party going all night long on our spacious covered patio, the urban al fresco oasis.

Proceeds go toward Out of the Cold at St. Andrew’s Church, a community program offering judgment-free services to those in need across Toronto. Over the last two years The Drake has raised over $12,000 for the program, providing thousands of warm meals to the most vulnerable segment of the Financial District community.
