After a successful pop-up in Kensington Market during the Summer, Men's Retreats is joining forces with Lululemon on a new series of classes for men at their new community space The Attic at 318 Queen Street West. Join us for Men’s Movement, Monday nights starting September 12th for ten weeks.

This pre-registered yoga series (drop-ins welcome) will help you get familiar with the foundations of yoga. We will explore the relationship between our body, breath and mind. Yoga is very relevant to our personal growth. Each of us has a unique path in this life and it is possible to experience more enjoyment and less stress by being mindful with ourselves. As men seeking to live happier and healthier lives yoga can be a tool of understanding and healing as you need it. It's more helpful for men to practice yoga in a relaxed environment where questions and personal attention are more available. Easy for anyone to join. All levels of experience are welcome.

ACTIVATE

6:40—7:40 PM

An all levels medium to high intensity flow class incorporating elements of functional strength interval training, Vinyasa yoga, and lots of core work. Expect a challenging and creative hour of sweaty fun, followed by some deep restorative postures and ending with mindfulness meditation. Ground yourself for the week ahead with this balanced and holistic approach to your mind/body health.

RESET

7:50—8:50 PM

A great class for just getting started or if you’re just needing to wind down. Whether you are nervous and have never tried yoga before, or are dealing with injuries that may prevented you from getting to class, RESET will cover basic beginner alignment principles, introduce breath techniques, and will get you starting to meditate. We incorporate therapeutic and restorative yoga, basic core stability, and mindfulness meditation to get you feeling great in your body, build strength and flexibility, and will empower you with the tools to reduce the effects of accumulated stress and tension in both the body and the mind.
