Acharya Sri Khadi MadamaEpisode – 15

He continued, “Just bring your knees up to your chest and roll side to side for a few times to slightly bend the spine in the opposite direction. This creates balance in the spine. Now you may get up and go on about your day, but be sure to thank Vishnu for letting you step on and lay on his back”. Gracie did as she was told. She couldn’t help but feel wonderful. She thanked Vishnu and Matsyesa, folded up her mat, as it suddenly became small enough to fold up and repack before leaving for school. Before Matsyesa poufed away in a cloud of pink smoke, he yelled back to Gracie, “By for now, my dear child”. Then she heard his jolly giggle until he faded away completely.

Gracie really enjoyed The Fish Pose and how it made her feel. Her spine felt great, her mind was clear, and she felt very energized. She started wondering where her little companion Musika was keeping, since she hadn’t seen him yet but reasoned that he must most assuredly be busy with Ganesha on some exciting mission in YogaLand. She got ready for school and was, as always, on time.

She was looking particularly forward to school today, as they were doing an assignment on Titanic and there had been some talk of having a Titanic theme throughout the month with various activities. On the way to school she happened to look up at the sky, only to see what looked like a pink cloud in the shape of Musika. All of a sudden, the cloud looked at her and immediately began to shrink and shrink and come closer and closer until, presto change-o, Musika was suspended in the air right before her and then leaped onto her shoulder. “Where have you been, Gracie?”, he asked. “Where have I been?”, Gracie replied. “I’ve been right here where I always am.” “Oh, well then, it must have been myself that I misplaced. I must have used too much pink YogaLand glitter and then just drifted away. Good thing you looked up and saw me or who knows where I may have landed!” replied the tiny mouse. Gracie looked quizzical, shrugged her shoulders and chuckled out loud as the two of them went off to school.
