The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of two arrests in a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
– on Thursday, December 15, 2016, in the evening hours, a woman, 24, was sexually assaulted and forcibly confined inside a bar in the College Street and Manning Avenue area
– the woman was given illicit drugs and alcohol while inside the establishment
On Saturday, December 16, 2016, Carasco Enzo Dejesus, 31, and Gavin MacMillan, 41, both of Toronto, were arrested and each charged with:
1) Forcible Confinement
2) Sexual Assault as Party to the Offence with any other Person
3) Sexual Assault
Both men were scheduled to appear in court, at Old City Hall, on Saturday, December 17, 2016, 10 a.m., room 101.
A sexual assault is any form of unwanted sexual contact. It includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex, and penetration.
