Toronto man Georges Njockachem charged in Sexual Assault Investigation

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.

On Monday, July 15, 2019, at approximately 11 p.m., officers responded to a call for a Sexual Assault in Cook Road and Sentinel Road area.

It is reported that:

– a 20-year-old woman was walking on Cook Road

– a man approached her and began a conversation on the street

– he invited her to his residence to continue to socialize with her

– once inside his room, he sexually assaulted her

On Tuesday , July 16, 2019, Georges Njockachem, 26, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1. Sexual Assault

He appeared at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 10 a.m., room 306.

This is an on-going investigation.
