The Toronto Police Service would like to inform the public of an arrest made in a child sexual abuse material investigation.

On Thursday, August 29, 2019, the Toronto Police Service's Child Exploitation Section executed a Criminal Code search warrant in the Eglinton Avenue East and Pharmacy Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

– a man possessed child sexual abuse material

As a result of the evidence gathered by police, Scott Bowcott, 42, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:

1) two counts of Possession of Child Pornography
2) two counts of Access Child Pornography
3) Make Child Pornography Available

He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East on Friday, October 11, 2019, 2 p.m., room 407.
