The Vancouver Police are issuing a public warning after what are believed to be two targeted robberies.

The first robbery happened just before 2:00 a.m. on May 24th and the second at 1:30 a.m. June 9th. In both cases, the victims were followed away from the River Rock Casino.

At one point while being followed, the suspects turned on a flashing blue light inside their vehicle and the victims, believing that they were being stopped by the police, pulled over. Once stopped, the suspects approached them and then robbed them at gunpoint.

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-coloured SUV – possibly a GMC Tahoe or similar type. Investigators believe the robbers were three or four men, all wearing dark-coloured clothing. The suspects did not identify themselves as police officers.

Both these incidents happened late at night and both victims were followed from the River Rock Casino by a dark-coloured SUV that had a flashing blue light.
