Human remains located at Niagara Region, Canada identified as of missing Brampton girl Mila Johnson

Investigators from the Peel Regional Police along with the VANISHED Task Force have been notified that human remains located in the Niagara River were that of Mila Johnson.

Mila Johnson was last seen on August 3, 2012, leaving her Orenda Court residence in Brampton.

On August 17, 2012 unidentified female human remains were located in the Niagara Region, Canada.

Through extensive DNA testing, the remains have been positively identified as that of 16 year old Mila Johnson of Brampton.  

Investigators do not suspect foul play in the death of Miss Mila Johnson.
