Hear the music of Oingo Boingo live in concert when Johnny Vatos’ Boingo Dance Party, a band featuring multiple members of the classic Southern California band, comes to the Canyon in Agoura Hills. The ten-piece band features Johnny Vatos, Oingo Boingo’s drummer for 17 years, as well as the band’s founding saxophonist Sam “Sluggo” Phipps, Carl Graves on keyboards and backing vocals, and Doug Legacy, a long-time Oingo Boingo studio and touring keyboardist who later formed the band Doug & The Mystics with several of Oingo Boingo’s members. This high-energy live show includes “Dead Man’s Party,” “Just Another Day,” “Little Girls,” “Stay,” “Only A Lad” and more of the quirky, unforgettable hits that Boingo fans know and love. Opening bands include Seven40Seven.
