Eastern culture meets Western spectacle in this pulse-pounding, wholly non-verbal performance at the Ford Amphitheatre. One of Korea’s most popular shows since its premiere in 2009, Fanta-Stick fuses traditional and contemporary Korean music with jaw-dropping breakdancing, fusion percussion, classical Korean string music, acrobatics and martial arts to create a one-of-a-kind theatrical experience. Fanta-Stick brings to life the myth of “Jamyeonggo,” Korea’s version of the Romeo and Juliet story, with an engaging show that uses powerful rhythms, haunting melodies and dynamic movement to tell the universal story of two star-crossed lovers.
